Internationa Olive Oil Expert
Judy is an international expert on olive oil. She travels to the producing regions meeting growers and visiting mills, tasting oils along the way. Her visits include in-depth experience of the local diet, sampling food in family-run restaurants and in the homes of the growers. She advises producers, wholesalers and retailers and runs one-day tasting and appreciation classes in London and Brighton and tutored seminars at conferences, food exhibitions, and gourmet clubs.
Judy Ridgway is co-author of The Olive Oil Diet, the winner of the International Dun Gifford Special Award at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and also UK Winner of the Diet section of the same competition. She also wrote Remarkable Recipes from the people who really know about extra virgin olive oil – the producers and Best Olive Oil Buys round the World.
